About 2 years ago I took a portrait of a beautiful friend of mine. I came across the images again and decided to take a look at them again and re-imagine them in photoshop.
After a weekend of location scouting for a future Photographers Location retreat, Ceri snapped this photo on her camera phone. You don't need a fancy camera to take great photos. Just an eye for the extraordinary in everyday things ;)
We have been longing to share these photos for a little while, but had to wait for the publication to be released first by Freque Magazine!Well here it is finally. We had loads of fun planning this shoot with Bekka & Nicole. We even spent the morning building the nest from scratch from sticks and twigs Bekka collected over the weekend from her parents farm. A bit of Chicken wire, loads of splinters and two very confused cats later, we had a human sized nest for the beautiful Nicole.
Go out & buy the magazine!!!

So today is the big day! Anton is currently completing his last day as an IT specialist and is embarking on the next phase of our ArtOf2 Adventure! The little seed that was a pie in the sky dream a few short years ago has finally matured into a fruit tree with blossoms.
This is all due to the amazing support that we have received from you all! Did you know that we have never advertised? Every bit of work that we have had over the past 3.5 years has come through referrasl & work of mouth. That's right, you have helped us with our dream!
So THANK YOU!
As a thank you & an inspiration to each of you to reach for your own dreams, here is a little treat that we prepared last year in anticipation of this day.
Oh, if you want to send Anton a text or email of encouragement or if you would like to book in for a photoshoot, here are his details:

As a new project I decided to make a longboard skateboard from scratch. As usual, the internet is a treasure trove of somewhat usefull and not so usefull information whaich basically revolves around the following 4 steps
I started off in Bunnings finding the last piece of plywood and then waiting around to get it cut in 2 pieces so I could transport it home on my scooter by squatting on it. Not the most comfortable o elegant ride but it worked.
Next I set about gluing the two sides together.
As a bit of fun we tried shooting a storm over the ocean in Sydney a few nights ago.I give respect to the storm chasers. Thats one hard scene to capture.
