Rain - every bride's worst nightmare on her wedding day but in the case for Christine and Jonathan, the early morning showers brought a freshness to the air and a sprinkling of rainbows to the sky as Christine arrived at "Our Lady Star of the Sea " church in Watsons Bay.The beautiful ceremony was not only attended by friends and family from all over Australia, Mauritius and the UK but also by Dave the English Bulldog, who eagerly awaited his newly-wed parents outside of the church. We then made our way down to Nielsen's Park with champagne and cheese in hand to the backdrop of an incredible sunset of oranges and blues that Christine insisted she had personally pre-ordered (for the bargain price of $20).
Once the sun had set, it was time to get down and dirty at Dunbar House. And what a party it was! Even Christine's grand-père, with help from the whole family, insisted on getting out of his wheelchair for a dance with the beautiful bride that brought all the girls in tears and quite a few guys suddenly getting "dust" in their eyes.
We loved every minute of it.
