Out at a secret location, the air raid sires howled to life as me and 800 other people were rushed through the underground bomb shelter, past the weapons store and diesel generator room to the main gun turret where a 16 piece Jazz band played and cold beer was served.
The Lost Boys production of Lost in the Blitz was a fab way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We took photos, jammed to Miami Horror and then danced under the search lights that were guarding us from the enemies bombers.
As with all their events, everyone (and I mean everyone) dressed up for the theme. There was nowhere you could point a camera without slapping a soldier or bomber girl up to mischief. I'd love to gather a couple of them together and edit them into an old style calendar with bomber girls on the sides of planes. Ah November.. what a month you would be :)
